Thanks to the few people who took the time to submit a T-Shirt entry for our T-Shirt Contest, even if you didn't win, it was greatly appreciated. I think we grossly underestimated either the capability of our regulars in such matters or how many people like good prizes in general. Because, when all is said and done, this was basically easy contest to win, and the prize was a good one. Tell me you don't have time. Tell me you aren't a great graphic designer. But don't dare tell me you don't like $100 bar tabs. There's always the other option - that people underestimated what it would take to win this thing. We had a few cute submissions - references to Lance, A couple cool designs, and a few okay slogans. But the winner is a cut above - well thought out, well executed, and overall inspired. So without further adieu...

Another T-Shirt contest entry from the UP faithful. We're getting better with each one here guys. Tonight we've got Quizzo, and the CAPS game. What more do you need? Come show your support for the home team, as they head down to Tampa hoping to steal game 3 of the eastern conference semis and get back on track. We will also have Boston vs. Miami Game 2, Oklahoma City vs. Memphis game 2, and the usual slew of baseball games. Caps start at 6:30, and Quizzo is at 8, so don't be late.
We will have four dollar "Great 8" shots for the Caps game - the first person who tells his or her bartender or server to "Unleash The Fury" gets one for free!
Here are a few reasons for you to come in tonight, as if bourbon night isn't enough as it is:
Two NBA second round game ones will be on tonight - Chicago vs. Atlanta (8 pm) and LA vs. Dallas (10:30). I know we'll be seeing some of you Chicago fans as usual, but lets not forget that the second end of this double header might well be between the best two teams in the West. Should be a good one.
Game 2 of the Flyers - Bruins (7:30) Is on Versus and will be on. Two classic bruisers, that will be sure to play as physical as ever with Philly looking for a crucial win at home before going back north.
The Usual slew of baseball games will be available. As usual, we will accommodate you no matter your club, but highlights include the defending champs San Fransisco here in Washington (7:05), and Chicago vs. the LA Dodgers (10:10)
How would you like to win a free drink off our Summer Drink Menu ? Of course you would!
